Privacy Policy

Grid Race ("the app") is made by Erdinç Atak ("we"). This policy explains what data the app uses, why, and the choices you have. We don't sell your personal data.

1. Data stored on your device

Your progress, Rhythm balance, power-ups, settings and statistics are stored locally on your iPhone. We don't have access to this data. Deleting the app deletes it.

2. Game Center

If you sign in to Game Center, Apple shares your Game Center player ID and display name with the app so we can show leaderboards, achievements, friends and multiplayer matches. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can sign out of Game Center in iPhone Settings at any time.

3. Daily Challenge scores (iCloud / CloudKit)

When you complete the Daily Challenge, the app saves your Game Center player ID, display name (or "Anonymous"), completion time, mistake count and score to a public iCloud database so that the daily leaderboard can be shown to other players. No other personal data is stored there.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and use:

• your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking in the iOS "Allow Tracking" prompt;
• approximate location derived from your IP address, device model, OS version and app interaction data related to ads;
• diagnostic information about ad performance.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we ask for your consent through Google's consent message before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Purchases → Ad Privacy Choices. You can also turn off tracking in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Video ads are always optional. Buying Remove Ads or subscribing to Rhythm Pass stops interstitial ads.

4b. Optional usage measurement and crash reports (Firebase)

The game asks whether you want to share gameplay usage and crash reports. Both are off until you choose to turn them on, and you can turn either off at any time in Settings.

If you choose to share gameplay usage, Grid Race uses Google Firebase Analytics to measure gameplay activity, tutorial progress, game results, purchase attempts and verified direct purchases. Analytics also collects app-instance identifiers and technical app/device information. These help us understand how players use and return to the game. We do not send your Game Center name or player ID, public leaderboard records, or individual grid taps to Firebase. Firebase Analytics advertising identifier and vendor identifier collection are disabled in this integration. Advertising through AdMob has its own separate choices described above.

If you choose to share crash reports, Firebase Crashlytics collects crash and diagnostic information, such as app version, device/OS details, stack traces and limited error codes. When both usage and crash sharing are enabled, Analytics activity may appear as crash breadcrumbs. Turning usage sharing off resets the local Analytics identifier; turning crash sharing off stops automatic report submission and removes pending local reports. Disabling a choice does not by itself delete reports already sent to Google. For data questions or deletion requests, contact us at the address below. Google processes these reports under its applicable privacy terms.

5. Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. The app receives a transaction record from Apple to deliver what you bought.

6. Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules local reminders (for example, the Daily Challenge) on your device. No notification data is sent to us.

7. Children

Grid Race is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them.

8. Data retention and deletion

Local data stays until you delete the app. To have your Daily Challenge scores removed from the public leaderboard, email us with your Game Center display name and we will delete them within 30 days.
